gates are the domain of caftsmen, but as we all know craftsmen take
time to produce results. Driveway gates have typical lead times of at
least 6-8 weeks which can often lead to significant project delays.
The Xpanda range of gates is the answer to this "bespoke delay".
By
manufacturing gates in three popular styles and initially two standard
sizes, the range still employs the same caftsman's skills but we are
able to offer the gates ex-stock. This innoivative concept has been
developed in response to requests from builders and developers who frequently
require a quality product that is available to meet immediate demand
off-the-shelf.
Matching
pedestrian gates, steel posts as well as a conversion kit for underground
operators are also available and it is usually possible to obtain a
fully finished pair of Zpanda gates within 7 days.

The
underground gate motors can be operated by all the standard CAME accessories
e.g. remote controls, push buttons, keypads etc.
In
the eventuality of a power cut the FROG system has a key operated manual
release mechanism which is conveniently situated on both the inside
and outside of the gateway.

As
its name implies this superb, much copied gate machine is designed to
operate in damp, below ground level conditions. It is indeed the most
popular machine with the discerning customer, who not only wants a long
lasting reliable gate machine, but also does not want to see any type
of armature attachment on the inside of the gates.
The
FROG automation system can be fitted to new gateways or most pairs of
existing gates that you may have. We are able to visit your gateway
to professionally ensure that the ‘FROG’ automation system
is the best possible solution for your requirement.

The
FROG system is designed to automate either metallic or wooden gates
and in every case the pivot arm becomes the bottom hinge for the gate.
Once correctly installed, there is no apparent sign of the mechanism
other than the lid of the foundation casing box, and it does not detract
from the overall aesthetics of an attractive gateway.
The irreversible geared motor firmly locks the gates, unlike hydraulic
machines which generally allow their pistons to “relax”
and therefore must have an electric locking system which, with the passage
of time, invariably becomes an extra thing to malfunction.

FERNI

The FERNI articulated arm gate operator is designed to automate gates
that are hung from large brick or stone pillars. The FERNI can be operated
by all the standard CAME accessories e.g. remote controls, push buttons,
keypads etc.

In
the eventuality of a power cut the FERNI has a lever operated manual
release mechanism which is situated on the motor casing. The simplicity
of operation of a winding arm machine always ensures the fastest possible
operating of the gate. A common application for the ‘FERNI’
motor is a situation, such as a gateway directly on a main road, where
the gates’ opening time needs to be as quick as possible.
Undoubtedly,
the 'FERNI' proves to be the fastest and most versatile external electro-mechanical
operator.

'ATI' motors are extremely strong and able to cope with heavyweight gates.
The strength of the ATI motor is achieved by the irreversibly geared worm

of a power cut the 'ATI machine has a key operated manual release mechanism. |
A
common application for the 'ATI' series would be to operate a traditional
five bar wooden gate. A situation in which the 'ATI' series is very
useful, is a pair of closed-in boarded gates in an exposed position,
where the force of the wind will pose no problems to the strength of
the 'ATI'.

'UNIT' kit is a complete system for a pair of wing gates up to 1.8m
each leaf and is most commonly used in small hinge geometry situations.

system for small hinge geometry gates. The kit also comes with a comprehensive

WHENEVER
there is limited space in an entrance, an electric sliding gate which
takes up little or no room is the ideal solution
WHENEVER
the driveway entrance turns sharply to the right or the left and a wing
type gate would form an obstruction to the turning vehicle, then an
electric sliding gate is the ideal solution.
WHENEVER
extra security is required and the driveway needs to be securely closed
off by the electric gate, then the electric sliding gate forms the ideal
solution.

The
CAME range of electric sliding gate operators has a machine for every
size of gate. Residential gates can be opened with the 'BX or 'BXE'
machines and commercial gateways with the 'BK' range or the 'BY3500'
series. The robust and reliable rack and pinion method of operation
is very straightforward and can be used on metal or wooden gates.
The
sophisticated electronic control panel can be programmed to accommodate
timed auto-closure and partial opening to allow just pedestrian access
and can accept wired low voltage signaling from the whole range of CAME
accessories.

The
installation of an electric sliding gate system is a little more involved
than any other type of electric gate as it has to have more civil engineering
done at the initial stage, but once the correct ground track and/or
cantilever roller frames are installed, then the installation follows
the same format as with other types of electric gates, continuing with
the mechanical engineering stage of gate fabrication and gate mounting,
followed by the final stage of electrical fixing and commissioning.

UNIV
garage door operator

The
'UNIV' garage door operator is a comprehensive package of CAME equipment
designed to automate new or existing horizontally tracked garage doors,
which are the up and over type of door. It can automate doors from 1.8,
wide to 6m wide (6' to 18'). The principle of the 'UNIV' is a rigid "C"
section steel shaft containing a strong carrying chain which is connected
by a bent "banana" arm to the centre point at the top of the
door. This provides a powerful yet smooth operation to the balanced door. |
It
has a quiet 24 volt motor with an electronic control panel and limit
switches. The limit switches not only cut off the motor at the top and
bottom, but also decelerate the door when it reaches its final few inches
of closure.
It
has power sensitivity with an intelligent method of sensing an obstruction
in the path of the door and can also accommodate extra intra-red safety
beams if desired.
It
has an integral light on a timer providing a small courtesy light within
the garage as the door is operated. There is also a manual release mechanism,
so that in the event of a power cut the door can be operated manually.

As
well as operating horizontally tracked and sectional up and over doors,
we have a version of the 'UNIV' that can open and close outward opening,
swing type garage doors, called 'UNIV-Y'. At an additional cost to the
basic 'UNIV' the 'UNIV-Y' provides a successful method of opening the
traditional type of swing door to 90 degrees, with an efficient metal
rod system attached to the higher level of both swing doors.

GARD

CAME 'GUARD' units are electro-mechanical barriers, which are ideal
for roadway vehicle control. They are extremely useful in directing
and controlling traffic flow, unlike the security gate machines, they
are designed as part of the parking products range and are fast and
effective in restricting and allowing the passage of vehicles.

The
4m 'G4000', the 6m 'G6000' and the 12m 'G12000' barriers are all 24
volt D.C. powered from a built in transformer enabling them to provide
heavy duty service. Special release keys are provided for power cut
situations and due to their low voltage requirement, they can be fitted
with battery back-up.
